Ultra Bionics was founded by a group that has spent years building implantable neurotechnology and helping translate those technologies from concept to clinical use — including the world's first endovascular brain-computer interface.

The founding team previously worked together on some of the most ambitious neurotechnology programs undertaken in Australia. Those experiences shaped a shared belief: that implantable technologies could have a far greater therapeutic impact in the future.

Rather than repeating what they had already done, the team chose to pursue a new challenge. Ultra Bionics represents that next chapter.
